HOW DOES IT WORK?
The theory behind Insanity is MAX INTERVAL TRAINING, where you go as hard as you can, leaving nothing back, for the entirety of the workout. Each session consists of roughly a 12 minute warm up (considered to be more brutal than most other exercises!), a six minute stretch, and then 20 minutes of extreme interval training. You wrap up with about five minutes of a cool down, and then are free to collapse.
The results? A stunning amount of physical adaptions, from improving your explosive power to developing your anaerobic engine. You’ll torch a huge amount of calories (up to 1,000 in some workouts) and if you obey the nutrition plan you can cause a phenomenal amount of weight loss.
